Dr. Erin Schmick was born and raised in Macungie, Pennsylvania, and has been passionate about becoming a veterinarian since the age of six—there was never a “plan B.”
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University before traveling to St. Kitts to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Schmick completed her clinical year at the University of Illinois and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2025.
Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery and shelter medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, going to the gym, listening to music, and spending quality time with her family. She shares her home with her two adopted island cats, Lady and Dutchess.
